Squash

Hey there bloggers!
Every term at our school we are lucky enough to try out a new sport or activity.
This term our sport is...

SQUASH!
Squash is a game very similar to tennis, they both use a racket and a ball except the ball is really small and made of rubber.
We all got to try playing with our partner. The highest score for biggest rally in our class was 22.
This is what a Squash court looks like:
We played on a court smaller and not as high.
2 people stand on the same side of the wall and they have to hit the ball at the wall making it bounce to their opponent.
The top line is called the outer line, if you hit over it you are out.
The middle line is called the serving line, when the ball is served the ball has to hit above the serving line then after that you can hit anywhere in between the bottom and top line.
The bottom line is called the tin line, if you hit below hit you are out.
Blog ya later!

  1. You write well Toby but I am not surprised since you are an avid reader. Squash was one of my favourite games when I was growing up. I used to swim and play squah regularly at the Raintree Club in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur from around your age.

All the best with exploring all the different sports out there. Hope you will discover a sport which you absolutely enjoy and keep up with your excellent blogging efforts.
