Animal classifications

Hi I'm back!

We classified some different animals into their groups by answering some different questions like, do they have fur or do they have scales.
Here is my work!

Key: Green = Yes 

Red = No

I learnt that there is an actual scientific word for all the seals (Pinnepids).

After we finished the Seal, Crocodile and Penguin we got to choose 2 more animals. 

I chose snakes and spiders.

Auckland 2K kids dash

Hi guys I'm back.
Last week I did the Auckland 2K kids dash with some other students from our school.
There were 100 kids and out of them most of us came in the top 50. After the run we all got medals and some of us went to get a ice cream!
We all went to running club in the morning for a few weeks.
There will be more events happening next term!
I learnt lots about exercise and running!

Kopuwai and the clever girl

Hi this is my first blog post!

One month ago we read a text about a monster called Kopuwai. He had the head of a dog, scales of a fish and the body of a man. 

Here is my slide

This took a few days to make but it was still pretty hard to do because we weren't aloud to use photos from the web. The only photo I used was for the dogs head. I think I did pretty well though. I mixed some songs you probably wouldn't find in a Maori myth!

I learnt quite a lot about making things without images from the web.
