My second ever climate change march!

Hey there bloggers!
You might have gone on a climate change march recently.
If you did you might have seen a big group of people with bright orange beanies.
Guess what?
That was us!
On my earlier march on the 15th of March just me and my friend Noah, (Check out his blog here: http://wpsnoahb.blogspot.com/) went without our school. But the teachers decided next time that there was a march our entire syndicate would go to!
So we did!
Since we were one of the first groups to reach Aotea Square a couple of us, with parents there, got interviewed by some news people!
Noah and I both got interviewed but we were really nervous.
The people running the march said that we were going to do something called a lie-in.
We would walk along the street and every few minutes we would lie down and stop traffic. We did multiple lie-ins and clogged up traffic on queens street for over 1 hour.
We did a lie-in so that then government would pay more attention to us and act on climate change.
Here are some pictures from the day:

Choir Rehearsal

Hi there bloggers!
Today our school choir walked down to Hay Park School to do their first rehearsal of the year! In case you don't know every 2 years a big group of schools choirs attend the APPA choir where we all rehearse some songs that we sing at the Auckland Town Hall in November.
Here is a picture of the Town Hall:
Today 7 of the schools (Including my school!) went down to Hay Park School to do a rehearsal.
The schools that came for today's rehearsal were: Waikowhai Primary, Hay Park, Hillsborough, Mt Eden, North Coat, Arahoe and River dale.
We met Mr Lambert who is the principal conductor this year for the APPA choir.
We sang lots of songs including In Winter, The Moon, Rockin Robin, E  Te Tarahiki, Eye Of The Tiger, Ke Manuia Te Aho and we started a song called Les Miserables about the french revolution.

The Great Vegetable SMACK DOWN!

Hey there bloggers!
Over the last month we have been doing inquiry on fruit and vege.
We were partnered up and we had to make a google drawing on a vegetable of our choice. I chose Bok Choy. We worked on our google drawing for a couple days and haven't really paid attention to them since, but then the teachers said...
We will be doing a vegetable SMACK DOWN!
We have to talk to our whole class about our vegetable using the google slide. Our talk has to be under 2 minutes but not too short.
Here is my google drawing:

I think it will be really cool to learn about other vegetables and fruits in the presentation.
I chose Bok Choy because I sometimes eat it at home.
I will update the blog when we finish!
