This term we have been focusing on Maori language, myths and culture.
We have a slideshow named Te Wiki o Te Maori. We have to find out and do different things all based on Maori culture.
My favourite task was the task where we had to draw a Maori god using a app named Piskel. I really liked it mainly because I could draw on it better then I could in real life!
I drew Tangaroa god of the ocean:
We also had to find a new greeting in Maori that we haven't heard of before. My one is "Ata marie morena. He ti mau"
Meaning good morning would you like a tea.

ReplyDeleteHi there Toby I am Rio from Waikowhai Primary School. I like how you made your sea god and added the trident to say that he was the god of the sea have you thought of making a better face on the god? Because it looks like its trying to make bubbles and failing. Bye comment you later!
